About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
  • Build production-ready applications using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Design and implement secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Develop scalable microservices and distributed backend systems.
  • Integrate third-party APIs including payment gateways, CRM systems, and AI platforms.
  • Design efficient database schemas and optimize complex SQL queries.
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth2.
  • Write reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following clean architecture principles.
  • Build unit, integration, and API tests to ensure application reliability.
  • Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and AI Engineers to maintain high standards for security and scalability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Strong understanding of REST API and GraphQL design principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, OOP, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming (async/await).
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Experience writing automated tests (PyTest, Unit Testing, Integration Testing).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/LLM integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek).
  • Familiarity with LangChain or AI agent frameworks.
  • Experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other message queues.
  • Knowledge of WebSockets and real-time communication.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
