PVE Customer and Application Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to ensure safe and efficient usage of ExxonMobil products at customer sites
• Develop technical solutions using ExxonMobil products to meet specific customer requirements
• Maintain close professional relationships with customers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
• Collaborate with business teams to maintain deep knowledge of market trends and align with end-user requirements
• Identify and pursue new opportunities generated from cross-functional market development teams
• Focus on key industries including plastics, resins, petrochemicals, film, and compounding

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering degree with a score of 65% or above (or equivalent CGPA)
• 3-5 years of experience in Plastics, Polymers, or Chemical industries
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Polymer industry (material manufacturers, polyolefin packaging, or technology service providers)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical service, R&D, or customer/application development
• Prior work experience within the plastic, resin, petrochemical, film, or compounding industries

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding, extrusion, or twin screw compounding
• Knowledge of cast/BOPP film and flexible packaging
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities
