About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with lawyers and business development professionals to develop compelling, winning proposals and pitch materials.
- Act as a strategic partner to pursuit leaders by identifying differentiators, win themes, and growth opportunities.
- Lead and manage the development of practice and sector-specific pursuits, including single-practice opportunities.
- Manage the content contribution process, ensuring version control and high-quality output within the firm's proposal tools.
- Work with design teams to develop creative graphics and ensure all materials adhere to brand standards.
- Track proposal information and leverage data and analytics to monitor the competitive landscape.
- Mentor and guide administrators and other team members to foster a high-performing environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in legal or professional services marketing, business development, or strategy.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a "quasi-journalistic" ability to grasp specialist knowledge quickly.
- Proven ability to work diplomatically with all levels of personnel and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or JD.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Experience with proposal generator tools such as Foundation.
