Purchasing/Supply Chain Buyer Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Support the European Supply Chain Buyer in transport and logistics tenders and sourcing decisions
• Conduct transport studies through spot flow analysis
• Participate in the implementation of a Transport Management System (TMS)
• Monitor the implementation of LTL flows using the PULL concept for European sites
• Support OEM projects by establishing logistics cost studies (RFQ, specifications, negotiations)
• Manage the logistics supplier portfolio, including performance monitoring and documentary audits (CSR, ISO, Safety, etc.)
• Provide operational backup for carrier management
• Support sustainable development initiatives by studying CO2 emissions and researching alternatives to road-only transport

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree or Engineering degree
• Field of study in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Transport
• Fluent English (C1 level)
• Knowledge of procurement processes is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or interest in sustainable mobility and CO2 reduction strategies
• Ability to work in an international and stimulating environment
