Purchasing Tariff Intern

Responsibilities

• Support quantitative assessment of import tariffs and their impact on the business
• Assist in scenario modeling to evaluate cost mitigation strategies
• Participate in supply base localization initiatives and sourcing analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including purchasing, supply chain, and finance
• Contribute to the development and tracking of tariff mitigation actions and results
• Prepare reports and recommendations for strategic decision-making processes
• Work on a strategic project focused on cost mitigation in North America

Requirements

• Currently in the last semesters of a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Accounting, or Industrial Engineering
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft O365 tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Proactive attitude with the ability to handle challenges independently
• Quick learner with a results-oriented mindset
