Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely availability of materials required for production plans
• Manage the full purchasing process from order creation to monitoring delivery
• Search for new suppliers, analyze offers, and conduct price and commercial negotiations
• Build and develop long-term relationships with suppliers
• Monitor the market and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, and Finance departments
• Analyze purchasing data, prepare reports, and evaluate supplier efficiency
• Resolve current challenges related to deliveries and order fulfillment
• Maintain high data quality in the ERP system

Requirements

• Secondary or higher education, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or production
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, planning, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel
• Communicative English skills (written and spoken)
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Valid sanitary-epidemiological certificate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial negotiations and supplier relationship management
• Knowledge of purchasing indicators and cost optimization
• Experience in an international manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of food contact product procedures (GMP, HACCP)
