Purchasing Representative

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with existing and prospective customers in the Japanese manufacturing procurement sector
• Conduct business development to acquire new clients
• Negotiate prices, terms, and shipping dates to achieve optimal transactions
• Verify product quality standards to ensure high-quality delivery
• Coordinate with overseas sales and product management teams using English to share real-time updates

Requirements

• Experience in B2B sales targeting the Japanese market
• Native-level Japanese proficiency
• Business-level English skills (reading and writing required; speaking used internally)
• Ability to work towards numerical targets and act independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or purchasing roles
• Proficiency in Chinese or Korean
