Purchasing Representative

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely procurement and delivery of products to requesting units at the right price and quality
• Assist in selecting supplies based on performance and quality standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, purchases, suppliers, and market studies
• Conduct regular market research to stay informed about pricing, quality, and market conditions
• Coordinate with internal users to ensure operational needs are met efficiently and on time
• Recommend and implement changes to systems and procedures to increase efficiency and performance
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and quality improvements by staying updated on market trends

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Commerce
• 2-3 years of experience working in a 4 or 5-star hotel or similar hospitality institution
• Strong understanding of hotel supply markets and procurement policies
• Proven negotiation and analytical skills
• High level of computer literacy
• Strong product knowledge and market awareness
