Purchasing Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and supplier quality deliverables across program phases including sourcing, tooling, part readiness, builds, and launch.
• Serve as the primary Procurement and Supplier Quality representative to facilitate alignment across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, and Finance.
• Relay program information and deliver decision-focused status and risk updates to leadership forums.
• Confirm gate readiness regarding parts, tools, and supplier status to ensure successful builds and launches.
• Manage supplier capital and piece-cost budgets, including tracking targets and reporting variances.
• Coordinate with the sourcing team to ensure RFQs, quotes, and supplier nominations are completed on time and aligned with cost and readiness plans.
• Identify and mitigate procurement and supplier risks while driving timely issue resolution with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience; OR
• Master's degree and no professional experience; OR
• At least 3 years of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing small product development programs or supporting large-scale projects.
• Previous experience in procurement.
• Familiarity with truck and/or engine products and components.
• Strong planning, organization, and presentation skills.
