Purchasing Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) process, including creation, monitoring, and exception management
• Ensure successful PO transmission and receipt through supplier acknowledgments
• Resolve shipment discrepancies, including unit of measure errors, incorrect model numbers, and over/under-shipments
• Handle PO invoice resolution escalations and change order management
• Resolve end-user queries via ticketing systems regarding PO management, Goods Receipts, and invoice resolution
• Provide transactional purchasing analytics and data-driven suggestions for process improvements
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in new system change initiatives
• Train end-users on procurement systems and develop knowledge base documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Technology, or Engineering
• 3+ years of procurement experience, preferably within a large telecom, technology, or media company
• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including PR, PO, and invoice resolution
• Experience with purchasing systems such as SAP or IBM Maximo
• Proficiency with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Zendesk
• Advanced skills in the Microsoft 365 application suite
• Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to support US-based time zones (Eastern and Pacific Standard Time) as needed
