Purchasing Officer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and sales departments to acquire raw materials, components, equipment, and services.
• Manage sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories to ensure optimal cost, quality, and supply reliability.
• Execute supplier selection, evaluation, contract negotiation, and purchase execution.
• Monitor market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate supply risks.
• Perform delivery follow-up and collaborate with internal stakeholders in Planning, QA, Finance, and Operations.
• Maintain alignment with divisional guidelines and Nutreco’s global sourcing contracts and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proven analytical skills and high cost awareness.
• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ERP systems and specialized procurement tools.
