Purchasing Management Specialist - Food

Responsibilities

• Source and develop new vendors and products within the Asian Food segments based on market trends and customer demand
• Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring daily follow-up and timely delivery
• Negotiate costs, payment terms, and lead times to secure optimal deals
• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies to drive GMV growth and healthy margins
• Use data analytics to optimize inventory levels, turnover, and cash flow
• Manage vendor performance using key metrics such as fill rate and lead time
• Partner with marketing and promotion teams to coordinate pricing and selling plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years of purchasing or vendor management experience in retail or a related industry
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (required for international vendor negotiation)
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for the food, grocery, or snack industry
