Purchasing Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of goods, materials, and services
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order placement and delivery
• Maintain preferred supplier list and track vendor performance
• Process purchase orders and follow up on delays or discrepancies
• Support contract administration and review supplier terms
• Handle RMAs and maintain accurate records
• Maintain an organized inventory system and perform regular audits using ABC methodology
• Ensure data accuracy between physical inventory, ERP, and PLM platforms
• Support logistics and shipping coordination

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with procurement best practices and supply chain fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Familiarity with PLM tools such as Arena
