About the role
Responsibilities
- Purchase materials, supplies, and parts needed for daily operations
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and deliveries
- Track purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely arrival
- Receive shipments, verify accuracy, and resolve shortages or damaged items
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ERP system data
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
- Support inventory counts and accuracy initiatives
- Organize warehouse inventory and storage locations
- Assist with ERP cleanup, inventory optimization, and process improvements
Requirements
- Experience in purchasing, inventory, or inventory control
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and leadership
- Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution
- Experience with parts, service, or vendor management
- Receiving or forklift experience
