About the role
Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders for materials and services
- Support invoice processing and purchasing documentation
- Help track inventory, shipments, and supplier performance
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure projects stay on track
- Maintain purchasing records, costing files, and supplier databases
- Assist with RFQs (Request for Quotes) and sourcing support
- Build and update reports that help drive purchasing decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
- Cross-train across multiple purchasing and operational functions
- Support onboarding and setup for new suppliers and vendors
Requirements
- Strong Excel skills
- 2–3 years of related administrative, purchasing, operations, or analytical experience preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience with Oracle or ERP systems is a plus
