Purchasing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative follow-up of supplier relations including price updates and dispute management
• Create and update product master data and supplier accounts
• Ensure proper execution of customer orders in coordination with logistics teams
• Anticipate and resolve supply shortages by finding alternative solutions
• Maintain proactive contact with suppliers regarding orders, deadlines, and logistics issues
• Manage annual supplier contracts and monitor marketing services
• Plan and implement promotional operations
• Act as a dedicated partner to a buyer, managing a specific METRO region

Requirements

• Experience in purchasing, sales administration, or logistics
• Knowledge of food products (meat, poultry) or the retail sector is a plus
• Strong organizational and priority management skills
• Rigor and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to company processes and specific category needs
• Reactivity to market changes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Autonomy and team spirit
