Purchasing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Authorize, reassign, or cancel vehicle part requests for partial loss claims through the quotation system to facilitate purchases and ensure customer service standards.
• Monitor part quotation requests for total loss budgets and damage payments to confirm pricing accuracy for proper valuation and payment.
• Identify and locate difficult-to-find parts within the quotation system to facilitate necessary modifications for the repair process.
• Negotiate part costs and delivery timelines against historical system data to maintain the company's established average costs.
• Track the shipment of parts to repair shops through designated systems until successful delivery.
• Prepare manual vouchers in the valuation module to notify providers of part purchases for operational exceptions.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Administration or a related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of automotive spare parts.
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical repair processes and services.
• Experience with the Inpart-Solera tool.
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive sector purchasing.
