Purchasing Assistant Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Support productivity buyers through the identification and introduction of new suppliers
• Manage purchase orders and follow up on open supplier topics such as resourcing and technical changes
• Participate in negotiations and project management tasks
• In the second year, take on official purchasing team activities including planning, launching tenders, nomination, and series start-up
• Collaborate closely with purchasing, logistics, quality, and project management teams

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bac +4/5 program at a Business or Engineering school
• Fluent in English to operate in a highly international environment
• Strong interest in the automotive industry
• Highly organized, rigorous, and autonomous with good communication skills
• Ability to work with technical subjects

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge or skills in purchasing or logistics
• A strong technical aptitude
