Purchasing Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Integrate into an international purchasing team to understand global procurement challenges
• Support the calculation of site purchasing indices and price updates
• Monitor the application of rules and standards within the purchasing management of specific commodities
• Support the Productivity Purchasing team through technical productivity or resourcing actions
• Follow up on PQA (Purchasing Quality Assurance) with suppliers and the P0 team
• Participate in the development of action plans and follow-up evidence to meet Valeo's internal audit processes (V5000)

Requirements

• Currently preparing a specialized degree in Purchasing or a technical degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Technical curiosity and a desire to learn the purchasing profession
• Proficiency in Google Suite
• Professional level of English, as the environment is highly international
