Purchasing and Warehouse Specialist

Responsibilities

• Execute transactional purchasing processes, including managing purchase orders and local/regional procurement.
• Manage supplier selection through competitive processes, including RFPs, proposal comparisons, and contract management.
• Optimize warehouse and supply chain operations to ensure continuous availability of goods and services.
• Perform data analysis on spending to support strategic decision-making.
• Act as a liaison between central operations and local supply needs.
• Manage the entry of merchandise invoices into the system.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives for cost savings and process automation.
• Provide training to internal users regarding purchasing requirements and processes.

Requirements

• Completed professional degree.
• Proven experience in competitive purchasing processes and supplier management.
• Experience in supply chain and warehouse operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with both users and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP or CRM systems.
• Experience in project administration related to procurement.
• Strong customer service orientation for internal and external stakeholders.
