About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day forwarding matters to meet customer demands
- Communicate pre-alerts to shipping lines, airlines, agents, and customers
- Handle administrative freight and customs operations including bookings and tracking
- Manage documentation for air/sea freight such as AWB, HAWB, Bills of Lading, and Commercial Invoices
- Coordinate import and export freight bookings for Air, Sea, and Cross Border Trucking
- Track shipments and resolve billing or shipping discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with forwarding standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in freight forwarding
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Import/Export, Cross Trade, Ocean, Air, and Trucking
- Proficient in handling shipping documents and INCOTERMS
- Knowledge of permit declarations and chamber certificates of origin
