About the role

Responsibilities

  • Interface with internal stakeholders to evaluate goods and services and execute purchase orders
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers based on price, availability, quality, and logistics
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Manage orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records
  • Assess vendor quality through in-person visits and analysis
  • Negotiate sale agreements and supply contracts
  • Coordinate with shipping agencies to ensure timely deliveries
  • Authorize payments and manage purchasing expenses

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to report to assigned location Monday-Friday

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
