About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality goods and timely deliveries
- Oversee the entire purchase order process following established procedures and system protocols
- Provide weekly ETA updates on open POs to Project Managers
- Collaborate with Accounting to manage GRNI and IRNB reporting
- Support inventory control including cycle counting, physical inventory counts, and stock transfers
- Assist Project Managers with BOM creation and product quotations
- Work with estimating teams to ensure best pricing and strategic vendor use
- Manage a shared inbox with timely responses to team inquiries
Requirements
- Extensive experience in purchasing, customer service, or counter sales within the electrical industry
- Post-secondary degree or similar qualification
- Exceptional written, verbal, and digital communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft BI is an asset
- Ability to work outside regular business hours for urgent operational requests
