Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for services and resources during both the tender and execution phases
• Inform tender and execution teams about market opportunities and challenges
• Conduct discussions with potential subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare requests for quotations based on project team input
• Analyze and compare offers from both a financial and technical perspective
• Organize and lead clarification and negotiation meetings
• Advise the project team on final purchasing decisions
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, including drafting and finalizing contracts
• Manage and evaluate the subcontractor database using available systems
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary tender and project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or an equivalent level of experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience within the civil construction sector, preferably on complex projects
• Thorough knowledge of the Belgian construction market and industry
• Sufficient technical knowledge to assess various construction-related purchases
• Fluency in both Dutch and English
