Purchase & Product Specialist – IoT HW & SW

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and procure IoT hardware components including cameras, RFID readers, LiDAR, radar, and telematics devices
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations and prepare Decision Analysis and Resolution (DAR) reports
• Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers in alignment with global standards
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and legal teams to translate technical needs into procurement strategies
• Monitor supplier performance, software license compliance, and market trends
• Develop strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication or Mechanical Engineering
• 5-8 years of experience in the IoT Product domain
• Strong technical knowledge of IoT hardware and software ecosystems
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or product evaluation
• Expertise in SAP and relevant procurement software
• Deep understanding of sensors, embedded systems, and connectivity protocols
• Experience in Electronics, Telecommunication & Service Supplier Assessment
