About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with hotel operational requirements and annual budgets
- Manage procurement of Food & Beverage supplies, housekeeping materials, engineering items, guest supplies, and general consumables
- Source quality products from approved suppliers through effective negotiation and vendor evaluation
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and monitor performance
- Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing carrying costs and waste
- Monitor procurement expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with hotel policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and cost analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in hotel purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Previous experience in a reputed hotel, resort, or hospitality organization preferred
- Strong knowledge of hotel procurement processes, vendor management, and cost control
- Good understanding of F&B procurement, quality standards, and market sourcing
