Purchase Analyst - Import/Export

Responsibilities

• Place and monitor purchase orders to guarantee on-time delivery and quality
• Manage facilities purchases, including cleaning and office materials
• Maintain ongoing communication with brokers and vendors
• Update systems regarding prices, delivery dates, MOQ, and vendor data
• Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders to ensure commercial conditions are met
• Support global sourcing strategies through import process management
• Monitor import processes to meet deadlines and ensure customs release
• Issue export documents in compliance with legal requirements for various markets
• Support the issuance of Nota Fiscal regarding the import process
• Monitor global supplier payments and provide timely information to fiscal areas
• Execute reports to support supply chain data analysis

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Logistics, International Business, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and international logistics within a multinational environment
• Fluency in English (both oral and written)
• Working knowledge of import/export processes and customs release
• Working knowledge of MRP modules
• Understanding of business operations including finance, legal, and materials management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the furniture market or a related field
• Proven ability to implement process improvements
• Knowledge of purchasing strategies and tactics for strategic sourcing
• Strong analytical, cognitive, and multitasking abilities
