About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute general labor tasks to support construction activities
- Operate machinery and tools properly and in compliance with safety standards
- Assist with the assembly and installation of various structures, including framing, drywall, and finishing touches
- Maintain a tidy and organized worksite
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices on job sites
- Perform drywall installation and finish work, including taping and sanding
- Carry out repairs and touch-ups to ensure a high-quality finish
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in construction or a related field
- Familiarity with construction tools and materials
- Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong physical stamina and capability to lift heavy materials
- Dependable work ethic and commitment to safety
- Effective team communication and collaboration skills
- Valid driver's license is a plus
