About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform various diagnostic pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and gas diffusion
  • Conduct regular setup and calibration of lab equipment following ATS/ERS protocols
  • Instruct patients on testing procedures and ensure adherence to international standards
  • Accurately record, interpret, and document test results for physician review
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to assist in developing effective treatment plans
  • Participate in quality maintenance through auditing, reporting, and student training

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Human Physiology, Biology, Kinesiology, or eligibility for CACPT registry
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Knowledge of ATS guidelines, laboratory policies, and clinical protocols
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex data
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with patients in a hospital or clinical environment
