About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate printing activities including quote requests, delivery scheduling, and file uploads to printers
- Maintain professional relationships with local, national, and international vendors and warehouse partners
- Organize and maintain digital and print publishing files and publications database
- Identify and coordinate updates for reprints, copyright pages, and corrections with graphic designers
- Verify printer invoices and coordinate with finance as directed
- Register new books with the U.S. Copyright Office and procure barcodes, LCCNs, and ISBNs via Bowker
- Maintain library of in-print publications and review backlist titles for necessary updates
- Confirm originality of submitted writing and ensure correct citations and permissions
- Research efficient, economical printing, packaging, and shipping options for all products
- Support author acquisition and assist editors with project management activities
