Public Securities Operations Portfolio Analyst

Responsibilities

• Reconcile portfolio holdings, cash, and non-cash activities between in-house systems and custodial platforms
• Resolve and communicate portfolio discrepancies and errors in a timely manner
• Deliver investable cash and cash event data to investment teams
• Support timely and accurate trade settlement processing for various public security types
• Process and validate non-trade activities including transfers, wires, and principal/interest transactions
• Onboard new portfolios into current operational processes and maintain requisite documentation
• Develop new processes to meet requirements from clients, custodians, regulators, or auditors
• Maintain deep knowledge of the Aladdin portfolio management system and related platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in public audit, financial services, management consulting, or asset management operations
• Proven experience in trade settlement or reconciliation
• Strong knowledge of investment products, specifically fixed income instruments and their life-cycle events
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and clientele simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Progress toward an advanced degree or industry designation (e.g., CFA, CPA)
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Blackrock Aladdin, or other portfolio accounting platforms
• Understanding of institutional Corporate Action processing for equity and fixed income
