Public Relations/Communications Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead PR campaigns and announcements by translating global marketing strategies into relevant communication plans for key APAC countries.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with journalists across vertical, tech, business, and mainstream media.
• Create high-quality content including press releases, pitches, thought leadership pieces, and briefing materials.
• Secure executive speaking opportunities and industry awards to position QNX as a leader in software-defined vehicles and embedded systems.
• Manage external PR agency partners within the APAC region.
• Conduct media training for company spokespeople and adapt global content for local cultural relevance.
• Track performance and use analytics to continuously improve content effectiveness and engagement.

Requirements

• Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in public relations or communications.
• Strong storytelling and written communication skills regarding technology innovation and economic trends.
• Proven track record of building relationships with media organizations and achieving high earned media value.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
• Ability to work effectively across different time zones in a complex, global, matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive or embedded systems industries.
• Experience operating within high-performance, fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in additional APAC languages.
