Public Relations Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers
• Proactively pitch stories, press releases, and company news to relevant media contacts
• Create, edit, and manage written communication materials including press releases, articles, and pitch notes
• Develop and implement comprehensive B2C and B2B PR strategies
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership to execute PR strategies aligned with business objectives
• Support the planning and execution of company events, webinars, and speaking engagements
• Research and submit high-quality industry award nominations
• Manage co-founder profiling and develop thought leadership content
• Track, report, and analyze the effectiveness of PR activities and media coverage
• Act as the single point of contact for PR agencies to ensure efficient workflow and goal alignment

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in PR (agency or brand side)
• Strong media relations with a proven track record of securing coverage
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to create compelling narratives and content
• Familiarity with PR tools and analytics platforms
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fintech startup or growth startup
