About the role
Responsibilities
- Engage in scholarship activities including designing, implementing, and analyzing original research in public health and pharmacy
- Collaborate on grant submissions and evaluate potential funding opportunities
- Oversee community health initiatives such as vaccine clinics, health fairs, and population health programs
- Provide patient-centered clinical pharmacy services for ambulatory patients, including inter-disciplinary team rounds and drug therapy consultation
- Monitor assigned patient populations for clinical progress and recommend therapy adjustments
- Mentor student-based research projects and provide lectures to pharmacy students
- Participate in pharmacy advocacy at state and federal levels
- Disseminate research findings through professional publications and conference presentations
Requirements
- PharmD degree
- Eligible for New York State licensure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A strong desire to contribute to public health, education, and community innovation
Preferred Qualifications
- PGY-1 residency completion or equivalent experience
