About the role
Responsibilities
- Interview HIV-diagnosed persons to identify exposed partners
- Locate, notify, and test partners in mobile settings
- Connect newly diagnosed persons to HIV clinical care
- Trace and re-engage out-of-care HIV-diagnosed persons
- Support HIV prevention, PrEP linkage, and ancillary services
- Collect surveillance and case investigation data
- Serve in emergency response assignments as needed
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree or equivalent education/experience
- Health education, health, social, or biological sciences background
- Experience in health promotion or disease intervention/prevention
- Interviewing, field investigation, and referral skills
- Ability to collect and analyze epidemiological data
- Eligibility for Public Health Adviser assignment level requirements
