Public Engagement Intern

Responsibilities

• Support and implement communications plans for live events and public engagement activities
• Process speaker and resource requests and correspond with student, supporter, and donor audiences
• Provide administrative and logistical support for virtual and in-person events across the United States
• Contribute to content creation for live events, toolkits, and educational resources
• Assist with community engagement and external communications across multiple channels

Requirements

• Recent graduate or current student in communications, event management, global studies, or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Canva, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a hybrid environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with event planning, management, or community engagement
• Genuine commitment to MSF's humanitarian principles and interest in humanitarian aid or public education
