Public Cloud Security Engineer - Senior Advisor

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain large-scale security systems across multiple public cloud environments
• Design and implement security controls for Dell’s public cloud infrastructure
• Consult with application owners, IT, and business units to enhance security controls and detections for cloud-based workloads
• Leverage scripting, automation, and configuration management tools to accelerate secure public cloud adoption
• Work with global teams to understand application architecture and network infrastructure to deploy adequate security controls

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience securing or administering large enterprise public cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands-on experience with Managed Kubernetes clusters and Helm charts
• Experience embedding security into CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and guardrails
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Networking technologies including VPC, DirectConnect, and Transit Gateways
• Expertise in Python, YAML, PowerShell, REST API, or other scripting languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP) or Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
• Relevant Cloud Security Certifications (e.g., CCSP, CCSK, AZ-500, SC-300, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer)
