Public Affairs Intern

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of SUEZ's public affairs strategy regarding waste recycling and water management in France
• Conduct institutional monitoring and veille on topics related to recycling, waste recovery, and water
• Analyze national legislative and regulatory projects, including reports and opinions, that impact company activities
• Assist in defending company interests before public authorities by developing position papers, arguments, presentations, and responses to public consultations

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Affairs or a related field
• Seeking a 6-month internship starting in September 2026
• Strong understanding of French institutions and environmental public policy issues
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work autonomously, reactively, and effectively within a team environment
