Psychotherapist/Social Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centred, evidence-informed psychotherapy and counselling services to individuals, families, and caregivers
• Perform biopsychosocial assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans
• Collaborate within an inter-professional model of care with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals
• Participate in clinical case conferences, chart reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate medical records using the Telus PSS Electronic Medical Record system
• Support program evaluation and implementation of evidence-based protocols

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counselling Psychology
• Current membership in good standing with OCSWSSW or CRPO
• Two years of experience in providing counselling, therapy, and assessments
• Proficiency in working with individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD)
• Demonstrated experience using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
• Knowledge of evidence-informed interventions such as CBT or IPT
• Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively within an inter-professional team
• Valid Ontario Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
