Psychology Subject Matter Expert

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological and insider threat consultation regarding detection, deterrence, mitigation, and response
• Offer consultation on polygraph issues from medical or psychological perspectives
• Support the development, delivery, and updating of insider threat awareness education content
• Identify behavioral indicators and psychological issues that impact access determinations and national or nuclear security

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Master’s Degree, PhD, or PsyD in clinical psychology, or an M.D.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in applying psychological or medical concerns to national security
• Expertise in identifying and interpreting behaviors associated with national security concerns
• Proven experience in conducting threat assessments and formulating risk reduction strategies based on individual predispositions and mental health issues
