About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and master's level psychology courses in both lecture and seminar formats.
- Lead seminar classes (capped at 15 students) including biweekly individual meetings to guide students through independent research projects or literature reviews.
- Conduct lecture courses (capped at 45 students) involving weekly lectures and small group conferences.
- Supervise students conducting course-related fieldwork in community settings or the campus laboratory preschool.
- Develop course curricula in consultation with the department.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available).
- Experience in college-level teaching.
- Experience guiding undergraduate research projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate in psychology or an allied field.
- Expertise in social psychology, critical social psychology, adult/child clinical psychology, positive psychology, or cultural and global perspectives.
