Psychologist

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, patient and family counseling, and education
• Develop recommendations and provide information to staff to support patient care
• Work as a collaborative member of a multi-disciplinary team within a consultative model
• Participate in program development, evaluation, and quality improvement activities
• Maintain timely and relevant clinical documentation
• Pursue continuous professional development and advances in practice

Requirements

• PhD in Psychology
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
• Neuropsychology certification
• Experience working with rehabilitation and complex continuing care populations
• Experience with motor vehicle accident, respiratory, or amputee populations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong consultation and collaborative teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of behaviour analytic principles
