Psychologist

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention to a varied client population
• Manage a caseload of individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health difficulties
• Work with clients experiencing complex trauma, high-risk presentations and emotional difficulties
• Conduct specialist therapeutic work within your area of expertise, including adult, child and adolescent, couples or family therapy
• Collaborate with Consultant Psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Develop personalised treatment plans that support positive clinical outcomes
• Maintain accurate and professional clinical records in line with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Current registration with an appropriate professional body
• Experience delivering psychological therapy within mental health services
• Strong assessment, formulation and therapeutic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people
• Experience providing couples therapy or family therapy
• Experience managing complex trauma or high-risk presentations
• Previous experience within private healthcare or international settings
• Additional training in specialist therapeutic modalities
