About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for children and young people with complex needs
- Work collaboratively with educational and residential teams to create therapeutic living and learning environments
- Provide consultation, training, and guidance to staff to ensure clinically informed care
- Contribute to a joined-up clinical model across schools and children’s homes
- Support the development of strategies that promote positive outcomes for young people
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist
- Experience in assessing, formulating, and delivering interventions for children and young people with complex needs
- Ability to provide consultation and training to staff teams
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within SEMH or SEND settings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and neurodevelopmental conditions
