Psychologist

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for children and young people with complex needs
• Work collaboratively with educational and residential teams to create therapeutic living and learning environments
• Provide consultation, training, and guidance to staff to ensure clinically informed care
• Contribute to a joined-up clinical model across schools and children’s homes
• Support the development of strategies that promote positive outcomes for young people

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist
• Experience in assessing, formulating, and delivering interventions for children and young people with complex needs
• Ability to provide consultation and training to staff teams
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within SEMH or SEND settings
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and neurodevelopmental conditions
