Psychological Psychotherapist in Pain Medicine

Responsibilities

• Perform psychotherapeutic evaluation and diagnostics for chronic pain patients within interdisciplinary multimodal pain therapy
• Conduct patient education, individual therapy, and group therapy
• Teach techniques for pain management, stress management, relaxation, and mindfulness
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

Requirements

• Completed Master's or Diploma in Clinical Psychology
• Completed training as a Psychological Psychotherapist or in advanced stages of training
• Ideally experience with chronic pain patients
• Interest in obtaining the additional qualification in Special Pain Psychotherapy
• Strong communication, social competence, and empathy
• Organizational talent and flexibility
