Psychiatry Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients supporting entry into care and logistics
• Act as a liaison between patients and providers regarding treatment and appointments
• Ensure security and confidentiality of patient and provider data in compliance with HIPAA
• Manage patients needing urgent support, including prescription issues or medication side effects
• Assist clinicians with administrative, tooling, or patient-specific duties
• Support providers with non-medical tasks such as obtaining medical records and completing prescription prior authorizations
• Monitor and manage operational workflows to ensure compliance with policies
• Identify and optimize processes to improve scale and efficiency
• Work with cross-functional partners to design and implement new processes

Requirements

• Experience in operations or support roles, preferably in tech or mental healthcare
• Experience working with medical providers, pharmacies, and labs
• Experience with prescription prior authorizations and tools like CoverMyMeds
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience learning new tools and optimizing business metrics
• Experience working on cross-functional projects
