Psychiatrist or Prescribing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via 60-minute intake appointments and regular follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and longitudinal medication treatment
• Construct patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, and manage psychiatric medications
• Provide safe, evidence-based medication treatment following clinical best practice guidelines

Requirements

• Board certified MD or DO in psychiatry, graduate of an accredited PMHNP program, or graduate of an accredited PA program
• Unrestricted state license
• Minimum of 2 years in practice
• Must have office space in Elkhorn, NE to provide in-person evaluations
• Full-time resident of the United States
• Ability to provide care to patients with a full range of diagnoses and clinical complexity

Preferred Qualifications

• Active DEA license (for NPs and PA-Cs)
• Additional certification or clinical experience working with minors
• Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry or completion of a post-graduate psychiatry fellowship
