About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient evaluation and treatment for older adult patients with complex psychiatric needs
- Collaborate with primary care, specialty care partners, psychologists, and clinical social workers
- Serve as a clinician-educator by training and mentoring psychiatry residents, geriatric medicine fellows, and medical students
- Apply for faculty appointment to the Tufts University School of Medicine
- Participate in a culture of continuous quality improvement to maintain high standards of safety and patient satisfaction
Requirements
- Fellowship-trained in Geriatric Psychiatry or Neuropsychiatry
- Board-certified in Geriatric Psychiatry or Neuropsychiatry
- Demonstrated interest or expertise in the care of seniors with complex psychiatric needs
- Interest in clinician-educator roles within an academic setting
