Psychiatrist - Geriatric Care

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient evaluation and treatment for older adult patients with complex psychiatric needs
• Collaborate with primary care, specialty care partners, psychologists, and clinical social workers
• Serve as a clinician-educator by training and mentoring psychiatry residents, geriatric medicine fellows, and medical students
• Apply for faculty appointment to the Tufts University School of Medicine
• Participate in a culture of continuous quality improvement to maintain high standards of safety and patient satisfaction

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained in Geriatric Psychiatry or Neuropsychiatry
• Board-certified in Geriatric Psychiatry or Neuropsychiatry
• Demonstrated interest or expertise in the care of seniors with complex psychiatric needs
• Interest in clinician-educator roles within an academic setting
