About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocol requirements, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to site staff, fostering inclusivity and professionalism
  • Participate in investigator meetings and educational initiatives on clinical research advancements
  • Obtain IRB approval for study initiation and protocol modifications
  • Oversee subject safety, trial conduct compliance, and the informed consent process
  • Communicate effectively with sponsors, monitors, regulators, and research network leadership
  • Provide ongoing training and support to research staff

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator is preferred, but not required
  • Eligible for or active unencumbered MD or DO license in California
  • Board-certified or board-eligible
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for collaborating with sponsors and research teams
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and industry best practices
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
