Psychiatric Social Worker

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to determine clients' mental health and substance abuse needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using established therapeutic techniques
• Offer crisis intervention services during psychiatric emergencies
• Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families to access social, financial, and residential resources
• Advocate for clients to ensure they receive appropriate community resources and support
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
• Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Hampshire
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in direct patient care
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI)
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card holder
• Experience working with both pediatric and adult patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in detention, correctional healthcare, residential healthcare, or hospital settings
• Experience in outpatient clinics or nursing homes
